The Winkley Creek Timber Wolf

My neighbour walked across the lake today, over to the rock face near Winkley Creek and had a big black wolf come at him from this side of the lake, about 8 am this morning. He had to yell a few times to get it to leave! It’s probably the same one that was howling the other day! Big, black, and a bit scary.

He got some pictures of the wolf. The wolf pictures are looking towards Cariboo Island, the wolf ran fast from where it was at Winkley Creek when he saw it coming at him, pictures suck it was early morning and snowing really hard.

He’s pretty sure the wolf pack is around as well, lots of wolf tracks on the ice across from Winkley at Blakes!
