BC MOE releases a Memo detailing the Reason for Decision- CCQL Comments
Along with the Amended Permit 11678 , the BC MOE released an explanatory memo providing details of the "reason for the decision" to approve the discharge of treated mine effluent directly into Quesnel Lake.
A CCQL member has marked certain passages of interest, that in many ways indicate the bias that MOE has towards supporting the MPMC's application, and NOT taking a firm position that will protect the environment.
