Update on Spanish Mountain Gold

Spanish Mountain Gold responded to the BC Environmental Assessment Office regarding the company project just outside Likely, BC.

The letter Click Here provides a summary of the recent project activities, dated December 6th 2017 point 4 says,

" At this point the Company does not intend to undertake additional studies or activities specific to meeting any environmental assessment requirements. It is anticipated that any decision to resume EA activities will be contingent on securing the required funding. Prior to planning and commencing any work in this area, the Company will contact your office ( as well as federal agency) to explore the EA options available in light of recent and upcoming changes in applicable rules and legislation and to ensure the most up-to-date process or information requirements are being met by the Company"

However the letter does indicate that the Company remains committed to advancing the Project and will continue to work with the Environmental Assessment office and other stakeholders.
